We believe God's Word is living, powerful, and meant to shape every part of our lives. At Pinecrest, we are committed to teaching the Bible with clarity so that every person can understand and apply its truth.
Whether you're just beginning to explore Scripture or have walked with Jesus for decades, there's always more to discover. We grow deeper in faith as we learn together.

Our mission drives and informs how Pinecrest fulfills the Great Commission by helping you
Love the Lord, Learn the Bible, and Live the Gospel.
Our Vision charts where we are going in the process…not what we are now, but what we are striving to become as a church.
A church that is using the various spiritual gifts given by God to serve the people in our church, our community, and around the world.
“A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other."
(1 Corinthians 12:7)
A church that is sharing the Gospel and making new disciples while
sharing the love, grace, and truth of Jesus locally and globally.
"Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone."
(Mark 16:15)
A church that is sending missionaries, volunteers, and resources into the nations in order to fulfill the Great Commission.
That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15)
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Father is not derived from anyone, neither begotten nor proceeding. The Son is eternally begotten by the Father. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.
We believe God is eternal, the creator of all things, all powerful, all knowing, everywhere present, never changing His nature, and always loving. He is active in His creation now, controlling and sustaining it.

We believe in God the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. The Father was neither made, nor created, nor begotten from anyone.
Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 8:6
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful humanity.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, substitutionary sacrifice, and that our justification is made certain by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God the Father, where He serves as our High Priest, fulfilling the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ and indwelling and sealing them until the day of redemption.
We believe He is the divine teacher who guides believers into all truth and that it is the privilege and responsibility of all believers to be controlled by the Spirit. We also believe that He gives spiritual gifts to each believer for the building up of the church.

We believe that God created humans, male and female, in His image and likeness with immortal souls, rational nature, and free will. Humanity is unique among all of God’s creation and is endowed with intrinsic worth and dignity.
God created humanity to fill the earth, care for it, and rule over it while bringing glory to His name through lives lived in relationship and faithful service to Him.

We believe that through Adam’s willful disobedience to God, sin entered the world and its guilt was imputed to all humanity. A corrupt nature was transmitted to the entire human race.
Jesus Christ, being fully God and fully man, is the only human to have lived a sinless life. All other people are alienated from God, have lost their innocence, and are incapable of choosing what is acceptable to God apart from divine grace and salvation through Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to humanity by grace and received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.
Scripture References: Ephesians 2:8–10; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18–19
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to everlasting punishment.
Scripture References: Matthew 25:46; John 5:28–29; John 11:25–26; Revelation 20:15
We believe that sanctification is a vital part of the believer’s relationship with the Lord and their earthly life and service. God sets apart believers for His glory, and believers pursue holiness through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Sanctification involves practical aspects such as confessing sins, making restitution when possible, studying God’s Word, fellowship with believers, prayer, and faithful witness. While believers do not achieve sinless perfection, reliance on the Holy Spirit gives them power over sin.

We believe that all the redeemed are kept by God’s power and are secure in Christ forever. Believers can rejoice in the assurance of their salvation, though Christian liberty must never be used as a license to sin.
Scripture References: John 6:37–40; John 10:27–30; Romans 8:1–2; Romans 8:38–39; 1 Corinthians 1:4–8; 1 Peter 1:5; 1 John 2:19; Romans 13:13–14; Galatians 5:13; Titus 2:11–15
We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are God’s complete written revelation to humanity, inspired by the Holy Spirit and constituting the Word of God.
Scripture is infallible, inerrant in its original languages, and entirely trustworthy in all that it teaches. The Bible is the supreme authority for faith and life and stands above all human wisdom, tradition, and church authority.

We believe that the Church is one unified spiritual body made up of all born-again believers. Christ established and leads the Church to glorify God and make disciples among all nations.
The Church is called to worship, teach the Word, pray, observe the ordinances, practice loving fellowship, exercise spiritual gifts, and proclaim the gospel locally and globally.

We believe that the Church observes two primary ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward transformation and a public declaration of faith, symbolizing the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It is administered to believers and practiced by immersion when possible.
The Lord’s Supper is a sacred act of remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. It strengthens unity among believers and invites self-examination and repentance.
Scripture References: Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:41; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:35–38; Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–28
We believe in the imminent and glorious return of Jesus Christ. He will return visibly and in power to judge the living and the dead and bring the final fulfillment of God’s kingdom.
His return will bring final victory over sin and death. Believers will receive eternal life, and those who reject Him will face judgment. In light of this promise, believers are called to live faithfully and share the gospel.

We believe in the existence of Satan, a real being who opposes God and His purposes. Created as an angelic being, he rebelled against God and seeks to deceive, tempt, and destroy.
Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Satan was decisively defeated. His ultimate destiny is eternal judgment, and believers are called to resist him through faith, prayer, Scripture, and reliance on the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God designed marriage as a lifelong union between one biological man and one biological woman in a faithful, monogamous relationship.
Sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage, and any sexual activity outside of marriage is sinful and contrary to God’s design. God offers forgiveness, redemption, and restoration through Jesus Christ to all who repent and seek Him.

We believe that God is the author of life and that all human life, including life in the womb, is precious to Him. Children are a gift from God, and every unborn child has inherent value and dignity (
