Loving God
Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."
We believe that Loving God is a "whole life" attitude followed up with practical actions that demonstrate our love. We want every person to be in such relationship with God, where the activities of "being a Christian" come out of a natural desire to show our love for what God has done for us, rather than a checklist of "things Christians do."
Being in love with someone requires you: Spend time with them; talk to them; being involved in what they find important; being a consistent part of their life. We want to have this natural relationship with God as well. We want to be regular in several things; gathering together to worship Him; spending time together learning from the Bible; serving our fellowship and it's ministries; and investing in the vision God has given our church for Parker, CO.
We think this "Great Commandment" that Jesus gave is our first and greatest responsibility....he said so. We are a church that IS "in love" with our God.
