Operation Xmas Child

OCC UPDATE from Leslie Foster 11/23/2011:  Wow!  Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in this event this year.  We packed 244 boxes at the packing party and ended up with 579 boxes when our collection center closed on Monday!!  I’m so thankful for each and every one of you who supported this outreach mission.

Operation Christmas Child has one mission: To demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Over 8 Million Children received shoe boxes last year and over 130 countries have received shoe boxes since 1993!

Once again, Pinecrest is partnering with this global mission to make a difference in children’s lives around the world. Keep reading and listen on Sunday to find out how YOU can get involved…
