Connecting to Pinecrest

It's very simple to get connected at Pinecrest.  We call "membership" at Pinecrest PARTNERSHIP.  We believe that everyone who wants to call Pinecrest home is not a member of an organization but rather a partner in ministry with us.  We don't come to Pinecrest to "watch" but come to participate. 

1. Newcomer's Reception - These happen 8 times per year immediately following 2nd service.  It is an informal 30 minutes where we introduce our leadership and tell you a little bit about the church.  Please see the church calender on the home page for upcoming dates and times.

2. Partnership Class - This is a 2-3 hour class that goes more in-depth into the mission and vision of Pinecrest.  We discuss our beliefs, our church leadership structure and how we feel God is calling us to carry out His mission.  At the end of this class you will be invited to become a Partner of Pinecrest (member).

3. Life Groups - It is impossible to be truely connected at Pinecrest without being in a Life Group.  Real life change happens in community with other people.  Not a community where we see each other for an hour each week, but a community that shares with each other, prays with each other, and serves with each other.  Life Groups are where we live out this life changing process.  Not all Life Groups look the same or operate the same, so contact Grant English at or contact the office if you are interested in visiting a group.  We'll help you find the perfect group for you!

4. Serving - Our fellowship highly values serving each other.  There are many ways to serve at Pinecrest, wether greeting, ushering, teaching children, hospitatlity or many other areas.  Contact us in the office if we can help you find the place to serve that you would be passionate about.

5. Beautiful Day - We believe that the church exsists not just for our benefit but also for the benefit of those that don't know Jesus.  We want to show the love of Jesus in practical ways by doing community service projects that help people's lives.  It may be helping those that are living in the margins of life or it may be cleaning one of our local school grounds.  There are numerous projects that happen all the time and we'd love to have you participate in this simple way of reaching out to others.  Look for a list of projects on this website or contact the church office.
